Nothing. The app never sends data anywhere.
The app stores the following only on your phone, in its private storage:
Amounts and notes are encrypted on the device with a key kept in the phone’s secure keystore. If you delete the app, or use Settings → Delete everything, this data is gone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
If you choose a photo for a jar, the app copies that one image into its private folder. It never reads other photos and never uploads anything.
Secret Jar schedules local reminders on your device. No notification goes through our servers; there are none.
If you turn on the app lock, the phone’s own biometric system answers “is it you”. Secret Jar never sees, stores or transmits biometric data.
The optional “pay on success” unlock is handled entirely by Google Play Billing (or Apple, on iOS). We receive no payment details. Google’s privacy policy applies to the transaction.
Android’s standard app backup (to your own Google account) may include the app’s data if you have device backup enabled. This is controlled by your phone’s settings, not by us, and goes only to your own account.
Secret Jar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, changes are unlikely.
